The Skinny White Boy KastPod

I am typing this on a new/old laptop. An ancient Toshiba Satelite that is almost 100 years old and was picked up for me at an auction for only 200 USD. It’s only 700mhz and 64 Mb of RAM, but with a fast connection to the internet it’s more than sufficient to do stuff like… well updating the SWB web site for instance.

I am still on my “self inflicted podcast vacation”, and will be until after next week. What is next week, you may ask… My real vacation! That is, Missus White Boy needs to go to a conference in Dallas and I am tagging along. I will be bringing the recorder along. Don’t know what will get taped yet, but something is! I am for sure going to visit some museums (as I did the last time) because I am totally nutz about anything JFK (well his death that is).

I am almost out of the sanatorium, but for now I am enjoying the hell out of it. After posting my last message about my “mental” state, I got an email from a very good and very dear and very long time friend, applauding my decision to take it easy. Since he is such a good friend and, at times, such a wise man, I decided that if I had his consent, I should prolong my podcasting hiatus.

I am however itching to get back into the groooooove. But now my schedule won’t let me… Imagine that!
