The Skinny White Boy KastPod

Long drive… Long, Long drive! But we are back in good ole O-State. I have to get the dog from the kennel in the AM and then it’s back to work and hopefully I will have time to edit all the stuff I want to be doing for the next KastPod. I came back from Dallas with roughly 3 hours of audio recorded on the trusty iRiver MP3 Player and hope to have some of it ready so you can listen to it in KastPod number 49!

For the “un-initiated”, I was in Dallas on a pseudo-vacation. The Missus (Missus White Boy, I guess you’d call her) was there to attend the 21st AANP national conference and I went along, to get some R&R. While she was taking in all the lectures and classes and group sessions and what not, I slept, shopped sight-saw and all things I normally don’t get to do (read, read some more, shop some more, read, shop, etc…). Missus White Boy is dog tired now (so I drove her home — all 5 hours) and I am well rested and ready to get back to podcasting!

I needed a break from doing a weekly show, but now I can’t wait to get back. Holland got knocked out of the World Cup Soccer (Football in all countries but the US) so that means I don’t have to waste time sitting in front of the TV. If I can get through all the soundseeing that is waiting for me on the iRiver, you will hear what the Sixth Floor Museum sounds like (from where JFK got shot — or so they say) as well as sound bites from a Murder Mystery Dinner Show…. It’s going to be a full episode! Glad to be back!
