May 11. Checking on another website it looks like it was 2006. I drove past there 2 weeks ago and can confirm that they're there. Here's another article confirming that it's pretty new: Elk River Wind Power Project Delivers Renewable Energy

Hope that helps! :)

There are windmills in Kansas actually, but not nearly as many as there could/should be. Drive from Parsons to Wichita on KS-400 and you'll see them. If I'm informed correctly they produce energy for Empire Electric (which supplies electricity for Joplin MO and a few other places).

News article here: Kansas Wind Farm Dedicated.

I'm a little behind with my podcast listening as usual, so if you already mentioned this in a newer edition, my apologies. :)

While I sincerely want to thank you for the information, you have to admit that the joke works better without said information. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Go ahead, spoil all the fun! :-D

Seriously, I suspected Lake Oswego being a city although I seriously doubt the intelligence of the people that named it. Speaking of country clubs. The PGA tour will visit the one down the street from me, next year.

from Wikipedia: “Lake Oswego is a city in northwest Oregon just south of Portland, Oregon, surrounding the private, 405-acre (1.6 km²) Oswego Lake.”

Lake Oswego isn’t a lake; it’s a city around Oswego Lake, which is.

Incidentally, Atlantis is a city and country club in Florida, right down the street from me.
