#59.b: The Episode after the missing Episode
Ok, so some of you reported withdrawal symptoms… Well, I am back! It’s after thanksgiving and we are headed into the Xmas season. I said I would re-record number 59, but… Nah! It ain’t ever the same the second time around. So while the music selection is very much like the episode that you will never get to hear, the banter in between is much different.
The music is from:
Lisa Loeb
Gov’t Mule
Bing Ji ling
(not strictly in that order). See if you can figure out which artist plays “Amazing Grace” during the show opening…

I think the Christmas season actually starts on November 1, the day after Halloween. I can’t explain it, and I wish it would wait until the first two weeks of December, but there you go. Thanksgiving is pretty much ignored commercially, except for maybe two days.

The concept behind Thanksgiving ceremony celebration, held with a massive zeal in every nook and corner of U.S., is similar to the August Moon Festival in China, Tet Trung Thu in Vietnam, Succoth in Jew, Kwanzaa in Africa, Pongal in India and Chusok in Korea. The list is endless. The only difference in the festivals is date, rituals and customs but the reason behind it remains the same, to thank God for a huge fruitful harvest.
enjoy !
