WE NEED WAR!
Wednesday, June 13th, 2007Let’s face it we just can’t live without it! We need to have (as a species) something to fundamentally disagree about. After all, it’s the only thing that sets us apart from the monkeys, the fact that we CAN disagree! So… In order to survive we have to! And therefore after WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Dessert Storm and Operation enduring freedom… Enduring what? That would be Bushgate, the Iraq fiasco (see there I go disagreeing) we now have Safari entering the windows-based browser market. After all, Windows looks more and more like OSX, so that war is over. Fought and lost hardest by Microsoft. We all remember IE vs. Netscape. Microsoft won that one. IE vs. FireFox was getting kind of blah. We all knew it was going on (Iraq) we all had an opinion about it at one point (Iraq) but at this point in time we rather just watch American Idol (Iraq). So Apple decided to throw some Taliban back into the ring… Hence Apple’s Safari for Windows.
I say… Who the hell cares?
I say… What will they come up with next? Internet Explorer for Red Hat Linux?
Looking at my web site now in Safari… Dang! I hope this isn’t going to get too popular, I already have to make sure it’s compatible with 2 major browser, don’t really want a third.
