SWB Has left the country!
Wednesday, July 11th, 2007But not quite… Almost though, almost! Tomorrow I will embark on some serious “in the air” time. As much as I love my family here in Amsterdam, I wanna go home (play my guitar read Rolling Stone)! Highlights this trip:
- Seeing my mother. She is in her own little place, but she is happy there
- My sister’s weding, it was beautiful! Marleen, Gill, I love you guys!
- Hanging out at my (other) sister’s. It’s always so relaxed to be with you.
- Jan Polet, we have to do this more often, it was GREAT GREAT fun. Next time we’ll record something.
So here I am, writing one last blog post before traveling back. Although I grew up in this crazy city, I am used (by now) to less chaos. I love Amsterdam, but damn, those tourist (of which I am one now), they just bug me… Lots of mixed emotions. It was great, but it will also be great to get back home. What a wonderful trip I had… Talk to you all soon, sleep well!
